Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
Welcome to JewishLogos.com (the “Site”). The Site is a free directory where people can find, share and download logos of Jewish businesses, organizations and institutions. The Site is operated by JewishLogos.com (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site, creating an account, or uploading or downloading a logo, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who can use the Site
You must be at least 13 years old (or older if the law where you live requires it) to create an account. If you use the Site on behalf of a business, agency or organization, you confirm that you are allowed to bind it to these Terms.
Browsing the Site and downloading logos does not require an account. Uploading logos, creating a profile or agency, claiming a logo and similar features do.
2. Your account
- Give us accurate information, and keep it up to date. You must verify your email address with the one-time code we send you.
- You can sign up with an email and password, or with Google. Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person, one account. Do not share your account or create accounts to get around a block or a limit.
- Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3. Logos you upload
What you can upload. Logos must be submitted as SVG files. For safety we automatically clean uploaded SVGs (for example, we remove scripts and external references), so the file we publish may differ slightly from the file you sent. We may also reject, edit, recategorize or remove any submission. New submissions from members are reviewed before they appear publicly, and we may take longer or decline at our discretion.
Your promises. When you upload a logo you confirm that:
- you are the owner of the logo, or you have the owner’s permission, or the logo is a publicly distributed brand asset that is made available for exactly this kind of identification use;
- uploading it does not violate anyone’s copyright, trademark or other rights, or any law; and
- the business name, website and category you provide are accurate, and the file contains no malicious code, hidden content or anything unlawful.
License to us. You keep whatever rights you already have in the logo. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, optimize (including sanitizing the file), distribute and make the logo available for download as part of the Site, and to show it in search results, listings and previews. This license lasts for as long as the logo is on the Site, plus a reasonable time to remove it from backups and caches.
4. Using logos you download
Logos on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are usually protected by trademark and copyright law. The Site is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the businesses and organizations whose logos appear here. We do not grant you any right to use a logo.
You are responsible for making sure your use of a downloaded logo is lawful and appropriate. In general, use a logo only to identify or refer to its owner, follow the owner’s brand guidelines, do not alter it in a misleading way, and do not suggest an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist. If you are unsure, ask the logo’s owner.
5. Credits, agencies and claims
- Credits. When you upload or edit a logo you may credit yourself, an agency, and other members. Only credit people and agencies who actually worked on the logo. Anyone who is credited can remove their own credit from their dashboard. If you do not credit anyone, the logo shows “Shared by” followed by your name.
- Agencies. An agency owner can add or invite people by email and approve or decline requests to join. Only invite people you know, and do not use invitations to send spam. We limit how many people an owner can invite per day.
- Claims. If a logo has no credited designer or agency, a member may ask to be credited. Every claim is reviewed by us. Claim only work that is genuinely yours. False claims may lead to removal of the credit and suspension of your account. Our decision on a claim is final, but you can contact us with additional proof.
- Public information. Your name, photo, bio and links (and those of your agency) appear on public profile pages and next to logos you are credited on.
6. Editing and deleting your logos
You can edit logos you shared from your dashboard. You cannot delete them yourself. To have one of your logos removed, submit a deletion request from your dashboard, or email [email protected]. We will review it and may keep a logo that is of public interest or where another person has a legitimate interest in it staying listed. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
7. Rights holders: report a problem
If you believe a logo on the Site infringes your copyright or trademark, or was posted without authorization, email [email protected] with:
- your name and contact details;
- the web address of the logo page;
- a description of the rights you hold and why you believe the use is not authorized;
- a statement that you are acting in good faith and that your information is accurate, and, for copyright notices, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and
- your signature (typing your full name is fine).
We will review notices promptly and may remove the material while we do. We may close the accounts of members who repeatedly post infringing material.
8. Acceptable use
When using the Site you agree not to:
- upload anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, defamatory or that infringes someone’s rights;
- impersonate another person, business or agency, or claim credit for work that is not yours;
- upload malicious files, or try to probe, disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its users’ data;
- scrape the Site at a rate or volume that harms its performance, or bypass its security, rate limits or captchas;
- use the Site to send unsolicited messages, or use other members’ information for anything other than the Site’s purpose; or
- use the Site in any way that breaks the law.
We may investigate violations and take action, including removing content, removing credits, blocking accounts and deleting a member’s uploads.
9. Third-party services and links
The Site uses services from other companies, including Google (sign-in and analytics) and Cloudflare (bot protection), and links to websites we do not control. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We add tracking parameters to some outgoing links so that site owners can see visits that came from us. We are not responsible for the content or practices of other sites.
10. Our content and the Site
The Site’s design, code, text and the collection as a whole belong to us or our licensors, excluding the logos and member content described above. You may not copy or resell the Site itself or its directory as a whole without our written permission.
11. Disclaimer
The Site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee that logos are accurate, current, complete or fit for any purpose, that credits are correct, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Logos are supplied by members and we cannot verify every submission.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, JewishLogos.com and its owners, volunteers and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or of any logo from it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to US$100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless JewishLogos.com from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you upload, your breach of these Terms, or your use of a logo in violation of someone’s rights.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access, block your account and remove your content at any time, with or without notice, especially if we believe you have broken these Terms or put the Site or others at risk. You may stop using the Site and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as licenses already granted for published logos while they remain listed, disclaimers, liability limits and indemnity) will continue after termination.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make important changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify members by email or on the Site. By continuing to use the Site after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of State of NJ, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the mandatory laws of the place where you live, and nothing here limits them.
